Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF)

Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) aims to provide a platform in the Chinese entrepreneurship community for the value-added interaction among entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers.  Working closely with HYSTA’s VC Group and Executive Club, ELF improves entrepreneurship ecosystem among the major players in Silicon Valley. ELF’s mission is to promote entrepreneurship by facilitating the interaction between entrepreneurs and investors, as well as between entrepreneurs and service providers. In addition, ELF focuses on specific topics of interest and career development to aspiring Chinese entrepreneurs and professionals.

Each year, ELF hosts various workshops to nurture early start-up companies and to educate and motivate people with innovation to start their own businesses. In addition, ELF hosts event such as “Mentoring to Success” annually to help Silicon Valley professionals to establish mentor relationships with business leaders. By limiting the size of events and leveraging HYSTA’s extensive network, ELF provides an intimate platform for members to network with like-minded comrades and helps Chinese professionals broaden their knowledge base and advance their careers.

Testimonies:

"Thanks a lot to provide this opportunity for us presenting our business plan to a potential investor, and more important is that it provided me a wonderful opportunity meeting HYSTA leaders, entrepreneurs and investors, opening a route for broadening connections within the business world. It will be a long way to have a business successfully developed, ELF's connection will make it shorter for sure. I am very grateful to be invited to the Ecosystem Mixer event, and hope HYSTA may have more events like this to straighten the relationship between investors and business Entrepreneurs." – Raymond Sun, Founder of PhotonVision.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at HYSTA for the hard work in putting such an opportunity together for the entrepreneurs. I found both the pitch and mixer event to be invaluable opportunities for startup entrepreneurs like myself to expose ourselves to VCs, to learn from peer entrepreneurs, and network with people who share the same passion. The objectives of these events are clearly defined, communications are timely and clear, onsite arrangements are detailed and thoughtful; overall excellent events!

One thing said got stuck in my head: 'Entrepreneurs are often found lonely.' I am really grateful for and touched by ELF's deep understanding and sincere willingness to help the entrepreneurs to succeed. With the help of organizations like HYSTA and ELF, I will no longer feel lonely no matter how rough the time gets. I am proud to be a member of such an organization." – Russell L., Founder of GlobalGreen Energy.
